You’ve returned after shopping at the local branch of a national chain store and while unloading at home discover there are _two_ packages of $13.99 premium alkaline batteries in your bag. However, you only recall intending to purchase one of this item, and vaguely recall maybe only one being rung up at check out. The receipt confirms you only paid for one package. The store is located a 15 minute drive from your house. What course of action do you choose? _Poll ([view on site](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/polls-only-no-discussion/953642/3572))_ ---

What is your favorite US domestic airline? (I intentionally omitted Hawaiian Airlines because they’re a very niche airline that only flies to/from/within the Hawaiian Islands. Alaska Airlines was included because in spite of their name they have a fair number of flights within the Lower 48 states). I’m not really interested in the opinions of people who don’t fly enough to care, or people think all airlines are the same, so I purposely didn’t include an “no preference/I don’t fly within the US” option. And no “other” option because I’m fairly certain this is an exhaustive list of major US airlines (we’re not counting regional and commuter airlines here). _Poll ([view on site](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/polls-only-no-discussion/953642/3583))_ Do you have status in the loyalty program of the airline you picked? _Poll ([view on site](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/polls-only-no-discussion/953642/3583))_ ---
