Those of you who voted “yes” or “of course” in the above poll, were you aware that editing a poll after people have already voted results in all the votes being reset back to zero? The answer that @Mean_Mr.Mustard couldn’t be arsed to think of (parking, post 1451) is: I would love to park both our cars in the garage, but like most garages it’s too small. Were they designed in the days of skinny cars or something? A lot of people store the lawnmower, bikes, and so on in the garage, making it even tighter. Squeeze in there, struggle to open the door ad all that? Forget it. We park one inside and one leave one outside. Did you sometimes vote in a poll, then look at a couple other posts in the thread, and then notice that your vote in the poll(s) you just voted in were missing, so you had to vote again, and you never knew why that happened, but now, given the polls above, you now have a theory, namely, probably someone edited those polls while or just after you voted, which erased all the votes? _Poll ([view on site](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/polls-only-no-discussion/953642/1478))_ ---
