Ten days before the election, an idiot who had the job of FBI director decided to throw the election to Trump–and succeeded. The polls mostly never caught up with this. In retrospect though, they could see that Hillary’s numbers took a nose dive during that 10 day period, coming back only a bit after Comey announced that there was nothing to his latest “revelations”. Even before that, though, the credulousness of the typical Trump supporter astonished me. They believed a guy who had stiffed just about everyone who had had dealings with him. They believed him? Astonishing.
For many states, the Comey letter occurred during the election, not just before it. Perfectly timed.
OTOH, last Monday, Comey looked like shit. My wife was wondering if he had a stroke.
