okay this isn’t really related to this forum except for the fact that i need it to be answered in order for me to make the poll i’m wanting to make here. how come i don’t see the thing asking if i want to make a poll like on the other vbulletin message boards i visit?

It’s been disabled due to bandwidth is the most likely answer.

However, you can start a poll in IMHO. Just put “[poll]what is the best \_\_\_\_”, and count how many yes or no answers you get. Quite primitive, I know.

For a short answer your question, [polls are turned off](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=170443) on this board due to bandwidth constraints.
