Obviously we’ve already covered the outstanding car payment, on Paypal donations alone and we’re well on the way towards covering the next one. We seem to have covered phone and ISP access, and have accumulated enough PC hardware for **Poly** to set up his own LAN. Not to mention that we have offers of cars (would life be easier for the family with two cars, especially if **Poly** will need one for work?). Does anyone close to **Poly** know if the family needs assistance with other utilities and whether their major household items like the fridge and washing machine are in good working order? ---

Just a practical note. It’s not uncommon for shipping costs to be comparable to the value of the monitor. Consider donating the monitor to a school (or dropping it off at the local hazardous waste disposal site) and donating money directly. ---

The next challenge? Helping ensure **Poly** can keep his car to do job interviews and take care of his family. The $1500 drops to $500 to get the car back, the $500 will probably pay for about a month more of car. We need to see if we can get that number up. **Scotti** I’ve not used my paypal account in forever, but if I can remember the password something will be on the way momentarially. [slight hijack] Mtgman, you don’t want 2 paypal accounts. They don’t like it–also you can’t set up the same checking/credit card account for \>1 paypal account.
