They really are cute to an almost supernatural degree. I have to tell the pom I take care of “you’re just too cute! My eyes! My eyes! The goggles do nothing!” but I suppose Simpsons quotes are little beyond his understanding.
Hmmm…It’s a tough choice. Frankly there is some appeal to taking one of the late medieval/renaissance-era western Pomeranias, when the borders had marched well west of the Oder river ( despite the concomittant loss of the old eastern territories of Pomerania near the Vistula, which became Pomerelia/Royal Prussia ):

I had a female Pom also…alas she passed away…but she was INCREDIBLY intelligent and never yapped.
When I saw the slightly misspelled thread title, my first thought was that maybe a Pomerania is some kind of hybrid between a Pomeranian and a petunia. I had to read this.
