You may want to have a discussion with your doctor or therapist for professional care, but remember that self care is a must too. Up, caffeinating, sheets and towels in the wash, puppy crate cleaned and breakfasted. I’m fixing to do KP then take the second cup of tea to the patio before it gets too warm. Packaging diapers this afternoon and maybe heading to a bluegrass festival. ---

Up again, although I didn’t want to get up, but the time-to-take-my-pills alarm woke me. I have eggs cooking to make deviled eggs and that will be breakfast. Well, I guess that will be more like lunch Today we’ll try to figure out the how-to-buy-textbooks-online process. We can have them mailed to us so we don’t have to drive out to Frostburg to get them. I still haven’t figured out the billing, because one place it says we owe them and another place it says we have a credit. I’m sure somewhere along the line it will even out to the correct amount, probably has to do with the grant money. Last night I caught the tail end of _The Secret Life of Dogs_ and the final bit was how often dogs tend to look like their owners. They showed three pictures of dogs with three pictures of people and asked if you could match the dog with the owner. Very easy. Then they showed one dog with three people and asked if you could match the dog to the owner. Still easy. So what does that say about me having a Shar Pei? I guess it’s time to peel some eggs. Joy and Happiness there. ---

Howdy Y’all! Mowage has been completed over to the church house. Actually since around ten-thirty. I have since showered and had me a sammich. ‘Tis rainy out with promises of biiiiiiiiiiiig tstorms etc on the way. We shall see. No matter to me cause I’m all done with bein’ out and about the public today. Nappage shall be accomplished shortly. ---

It appears that in addition to being smooshed my hand is now infected. I started antibiotics last night and I reluctantly cancelled tomorrow’s autocross; I can’t even close lefty around the steering wheel, I was fooling myself that I would be able to drive if I taped the hand up. Rats!! ---

Evenin’ all. Irked again this mornin’. I had said I was available, but no-one had actually asked me to do so. Got a phone call 10 minutes before normal start time asking ‘Ummm, are you coming in today…?’ Didn’t even have lunch stuff I could bring; was gonna go shopping, seeing as they hadn’t asked me to come in. Got paired up with the same annoying person as last time. They rotate her round a bit, I suspect 'cos she drives everyone a bit up the wall. Tomorrow I’m filling in as dishwasher in the pub I’m waitressing in. If it’s busy, I expect to melt, it’s boiling in that room. The normal guy’s on holiday though and the normal backup couldn’t do that day. Probably due to the football, as the shift overlaps the world cup final, but I bet that’s not what he told 'em. {{ **Midget** }} hope today is far better! ---

Here’s a handy household tip I will share: When you decide to reverse the direction of your ceiling fan, dust the blades first. Otherwise, it will snow down fluffy gray dustballs. What a mess! I’ve just about finished cleaning the carpets. I’m waiting for a couple of areas to dry so I can move the furniture back and expose the rest of the carpet. Ziva has been hiding inside the recliner, and when I moved it, I filled the vacuum canister with Ziva fluff. Guess I should do that more often, huh? All the critters and \*\*FCD \*\*are snoozing. Apparently for some, it’s a lazy afternoon. 😃 ---

We have supped. Grilled poke chops and black beans and rice from a box. Don’t judge! I have chikin marinatin’ for tomorrow’s N.O.L. of grilled chikin sallit. Also I yanked steaks outta da fridge to thaw. Moanday night is men’s night over to the church house. I seem to spend a lot of time at the church house as of late, do I not! **Midget** as someone who deals with depression, don’t worry about how much you get done. Just do what you feel like you can do. ---

I did manage to do some chores before conking out this afternoon. Roomie wanted me to clean the counter, so I did. I think tonight will be all right, but the next few nights are supposed to be hellishly hot, not to mention that the renovators will probably be back early on the weekday mornings. I might beg my dad to stay at his house for a few days - not ideal since there’s a lot of dust there, but maybe survivable. ---
