With great fear and trepidation I await the release of _[Hannibal](http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0382731/)_, starring Vin Diesel (WTF???) as the Carthaginian conqueror. There is no god. Keanu Reeves is pretty wretched in any role. From what I understand, he’s actually quite intelligent, but is utterly unable to play an intelligent character with any degree of believability. While I worship and adore Audrey Hepburn, the world would be a happier place if Warner Brothers had let Julie Andrews play Eliza in _My Fair Lady_. ---

All these posts and no-ones mentioned Keira Knightley in King Arthur? Guinevere as a Boudicca style Warrior Queen? Keira’s your girl! Battle scenes? Like Arthurian/Roman or whenever its set soldiers wouldn’t immediately make a pie out of her. She’s great on PotC, don’t get me wrong, but this is woeful miscasting just to put a name people recognize in there. Plus she still looks like she’s 12. ---

**David Caradine** in **Kill Bill 2.** Crappy actor, has a speech impediment, looks incredibly non-threatening in any way, and he’s supposed to be the bad guy? I don’t care if you were Cain in KungFu. You never got work after that for a reason. Because you suck. If the climax in a two part movie is dialog and acting driven, then find someone that can act. ---

Julia Roberts as Tinkerbell in “Hook” didn’t work at all. Robin Williams was pretty bad as Peter, too, but I could see the logic. Ray Liotta in “Field of Dreams.” He looked demented. I kept expecting him to pull out a gun and shoot Costner. Not that that would have been a bad thing. Speaking of “Field of Dreams,” Burt Lancaster as anything. He had to be the worst (over)actor in the world. He made Shatner look understated. Andie MacDowell in “Groundhog Day.” Great movie, and it survived having her, but she was an extremely boring love interest. Can’t act, either. ---

Willam Defoe as Mr. Clark. That is clearly a role for Tom Sizemore (or even Tom Berenger). Mr Clark is a badass, a **big** badass, not a psycho-looking badass. He walks through a room with a force of presence, people move out of his way because he is a large, tough-looking muther. Wirey and gaunt is _not_ right by any stretch. Ben Afflack (the duck?) as Jack Ryan. WTF? ---
