[Just saw this one recently] My dad is an alcoholic, broke former golf pro. He wants to get back into the game so he can afford to send me to ballet school in Paris, but I know that golf is too painful for my dad because my mom died in a golf accident. AITA for wanting him to just go back to his job at the grocery store and forget about sending me to ballet school? ---

[I just saw this one a few months ago[ Back when I was a teenager I fooled around with an occult book and wound up with a trickster demon I couldn’t get rid of. Now I’m an adult and he’s back. AITA for wanting to banish this guy back to Hell? ---

So there I was grieving over my dead sister, when this meddling acquaintance of mine stole from my sister’s body and gave the loot to this kid (who seems really sus - I think she had something to do with my sister dying), then started to mock me. Some new prisoner to the prison where I’m doing time, a lifer who killed his wife, wants me to smuggle in some sort of rock-carving tool. I’m afraid he’ll use it to murder someone in the gang that’s targeting him. AITI for being suspicious about this? ---

We should add to the game by not only answering whether you’re an asshole, but trying to guess the movie. * * * Am I the asshole? I’ve been stuck in a sales rut at my work in real estate sales. I have to finish at least second in this upcoming sales contest or I’m going to get fired. On top of that, my daughter is seriously ill and I’m trying to provide for her. My boss has been sitting on a bunch of top-quality leads in a new development, and he won’t give them to us, saying that they’d be wasted on a bunch of bums like us. So I conspired with a coworker to steal the leads so I can start selling real estate the way I used to be able to. Am I the asshole? ---

I’ve been trying to come up some good ones, but sometimes I get: I was hired to follow this guy’s wife, Madeleine, but instead of remaining objective, I fell in love with her. But she committed suicide right in front of me. I had a mental breakdown. Later I was revisiting the places she used to go and I saw a woman that looks just like her. I asked her out, and I try to get her to look and act like Madeleine, buying her clothes like she used to wear, changing her hair and giving her a makeover. AITA? Well, Scottie when you put it like that…YES! ---

First of all, to get ahead at work, I killed a colleague who had been doing a little extra work on the side without permission. Then I killed another man in cold blood after I’d captured him. Then I seduced a married woman, and indirectly got her killed. Then I fell in love with a woman who was already in a relationship, slept with her and then saw her die. After she died I told my boss the woman was a bitch. Finally, I shot an older man in the knee after he saved my life. AITA? ---

My asshole brother skipped school AGAIN to go running around town with his girlfriend (she is so hot – she could do much better than him). Anyway, asshole brother also talked his best friend into ditching school. Brother pretended he was sick and now the whole school thinks he has some awful disease and is near death. Still, the three of them have a big time, going to a Cubs game, having a lunch at a fancy restaurant (and walking the check), and even singing in a stupid parade. Somehow, the friend’s dad’s really expensive car got totaled in all of this. Am I the asshole for trying to get the school principal to bust my brother for skipping? ---

So I took this job that seemed a little sketchy, but the money was good. Then my partner got killed and the cops liked me for it. I stalled the cops because my new girlfriend had some friends who talked about really major money, and I figured I’d deal myself in even though I knew they couldn’t be trusted. If the major money came through I could skip town and forget about the cops. But in the end the money didn’t come through and I had to give the cops my girlfriend for the ‘dead partner’ rap. I’ve been unsatisfied in my job for a while, and my boss does not treat me well. My partner got a free trip to Europe and I wound up doing the work for both of us. I have to get up super early and run errands for him. My partner insults my friends, gets to socialize with the boss’s family, and drive a fancy car, while I’m stuck with a filthy old beater. The job is starting to conflict with my religious beliefs. AITA if I quit without giving the usual two-weeks notice?
