hate to tell you but here in this shit town i live in my cd collection does consist of cds no one but me have heard of… and as for my sig, i happen to like godsmack before they were played on the radio, and as for it being in some stupid movie i never want to see that movie for the simple fact it looks completely retarded… and the type of pop music i am talking about is the boy and girlband trash like nsync and what ever the rest of those trash bands are. and as far as the radio thing goes sometimes you are not at home to turn it off most the time i am with my friends and they control their radio so i don’t change it and i try to block it out… ---

For more than ten years, I was stuck in a profession where I had no choice what was played. I went through the hard rock stage…the classic rock stage…the country stage…and I hated it all. However, nothing was worse than the golden jukebox era. If I ever hear the song “Rockin’ Robin” again, I’m going to purchase a rifle with the express purpose of shooting every damn robin I ever see. I can’t take bubblegum no matter what flavor it is. Then I got a job where I got my own truck with my own radio stations. I listened to it for about a month before I got sick of all of the choices I was offered. So…I decided to invest in a CD player for my work truck…only to find that I couldn’t figure out how to get that damn dash board apart. There were no screws or clips. So I put the cd player in my personal vehicle. And I listened to talk radio until I graduated to the office. A final point…I can usually understand poor grammar. However, following uncapitalized “I’s” is tricky. If one doesn’t capitalize them, it forces me to read the sentence twice which is a waste of my time. ---

Well, aside from the stupid repetitive grammar lessons, I’ll give you my opinion. I hate Justinitforthemoney Tibercrap and the Backend Boys too. But let’s be honest, if I could sing like those no ball havin’ sissy’s, I’d do it too. How could you not? kplmonkeypants, when I was 14 years old (I don’t know how old you are, but 14 is as good a guess as any) I was using my babysitting money to buy my own music. I had a fine collection of Aaron Copland and Jerry Goldsmith, among others. Ever heard of them? (Probably not!) They are not popular amongst many 14 year olds, let me assure you. And they are never to be heard on a popular station, I assure you of that. I never listened to popular stations. It was my own music, or the Classical station. And I figured this all out at the tender age of 14. 🙂 You can too! Really. It’s not hard to do. Just make tapes of your own music. I have never subjected myself to music I didn’t like. I cannot imagine why anyone does. Especially now, with so many ways of accessing music. (When I was 14, things were far less flexible and yet I still managed.) Really. There’s just no excuse for you to whine like this, when you can so easily change your circumstances. ---

Hey, one of the best songs on pop radio in the past 5 years, actually **The** best, IMO, is “Voodoo”. Other Godsmack songs you can take or leave. (“Coke” was sorta played on pop music, but I marginally prefer “Voodoo”. But I can’t understand why “Tangerine Speedo” and “Comfort Eagle” didnt become big hits.)
