And as an aside, why would you stop listening to a band you loved just because it became mainstream? Are you really that concerned with your “hardcore punk” image? Since when does going mainstream make a band a sell-out? It just means more people have found out about them and are enjoying their music. Anyone who stops liking a band due to this and calls anyone who gets into it late in the game a poser is a Grade A cockmeat fool. ---

Lest anyone misinterpret my earlier comment, I wasn’t trying to start a “more hardcore than thou” type thing.
