From the landing page to here, I got three pop-up links, just now. Previously, I have seen them from the landing page to get to the boards. To select a specific forum, and to select a specific thread within the forum. FYI ---

Same thing here. It used to be just when making major changes in what part of the site I was looking at. Now it is anytime I click on anything in the web-site. Full screen add covers everything. click, close, read. Click close read. click and repeat. I am using IE 11 with pop-ups turned off. Pretty disappointing when one of the most intelligent sites on the web resorts to the lowest in marketeering exploits. ---

Only happens on/starting at, [straightdope.com](http://straightdope.com) (and then moving in the boards). Happens on at least 3 different computers. Each is running a different brand of anti-malware / firewall. One is behind corporate firewall (and our IT dept. is pretty good). ---

Had to login to post. Noticed the problem was much subdued, limited to major jumps to home screen or specific boards. Logged back out and just about every click got me an add. Adds currently are for (company name) End of Season Sale. I don’t want to further advertise for them, so I won’t name the company.
