# Pop Up Style Ads

Couple of times after posting a message I have been diverted to ad sites – ads.gold and [mobyemsmt.com](http://mobyemsmt.com); do I have an IPhone virus or is this to be expected?

You’re not supposed to get diverted.

I don’t know if it’s an iPhone problem or an ad problem though. I’ll see what I can find out for you.

Step 1 in investigating ad problems is to see if other SDMB users are experiencing the same thing. So: has anyone else been diverted to another site after posting a message on this board? If so:

1. What site(s) were you diverted to?

2. What device were you using?
