I was wondering, is corn the only grain you can pop? What quality(s) make something suitable to pop?

Also, are there any reliable stopgap antivirii programs I could use, before I get a better one?

Amaranth, millet, and quinoa can all be popped, I believe. I don’t know what makes them suitable. I’ve accidentally popped amaranth myself, when I was toasting in. It’s very cute, because the seeds are so tiny. It looks like miniature popcorn.
