I’ve got a job interview on Weds afternoon. It’s for a drafting job - part-time/surge, which means, I think, they’d call me when they need me. It’s on the base at Dahlgren, which is where I worked for 10 years. If I get it, that’s cool. If not, no biggie. We shall see… The car is at the shop to get its brakes checked. My 'nanner bread self-destructed - I should have put parchment paper in the bottom of the pan. But it tastes OK, so there’s that. I finished crocheting the last basket, and I sewed another handle on. I’m experimenting with contrasting color trim - I think I like how it’s looking. Meanwhile, the weather here is icky. There was slushy stuff hitting the windshield as I drove to pick up \*\*FCD \*\*at the shop. I’m glad we can fit the truck in the garage - at least he won’t have to scrape ice in the morning. ---

Howdy from da cave! One down and four to go! I’ve been home for a little while actually. I heated up the chikin 'n dumplin’s and the collards and we et ‘em up. Well, not all the way up, ‘cept for the collards. There’s enough chikin ‘n dumplin’s for both of us to take to irk tomorrow. OYKW has a gnawin’ and a cravin’ for the General’s dindin so we shall have that tomorrow night. I promised tacos for Wednesday, which are easy peasey to make. Go us for plannin’ out dindins! Tomorrow will be a day from h-e-double hockey sticks for me. I shall travel about the territory all day tomorrow. I shall be in all the counties along the Jawja-Alabammy border tomorrow, all four of ‘em. A LOT of drivin’. At least it will be a sunny if coolish day rather than rain and ick. **red** nine p.m. Sunday would be early mornin’ time for the Mumpers who live in the future so that’ll work. 😃 ---

\*\*swampy \*\*- no need to cross anything. I just read the vacancy announcement. I lack pretty much all of the requirements they listed. By way of background - \*\*FCD \*\*applied for a job with these people in Nov 2013. They emailed him last week asking if he was still interested. He passed the email to me and I sent the guy my resume for consideration, thinking it’s just a drafting job. Well, it is a drafting job, but using software I’ve had just a little bit of training on 3 years ago, as well as other software I’ve never heard of, let alone used. It also requires knowledge of Navy ships, antennas, radiating patterns, testing, and suchlike. I know what some Navy ships look like, but beyond that, nope. When I emailed him back tonight, I told him if he wanted to cancel our Weds meeting, it wouldn’t hurt my feelings. I’m sure I can do the job, but I’ll have a learning curve, and they may not be willing to deal with it. So we shall see what he responds tomorrow. Fortunately, I don’t \*have \*to get a job. No worries either way. ---

I don’t remember but I do know I pissed off a few people and a mod warning. Now my actual first time having intercourse was in my college boyfriend’s dorm room while his roommate was a few feet away sleeping. At least I hope he was sleeping, lol ---

Howdy y’all. Here’s hoping the blizzard isn’t as bad as they say it will be. My first and only MMP starting was recently and was titled “a virginal MMP”. Irked most of the day. Gotta irk every day this week except Sunday. I have some comp time to use and tried to sleep in this morning. No luck. Instead of arriving at irk at 0900 I was there at 1000. Can’t even sleep in when I try. I have lost a total of 33 lbs. only 12 more to go. I have dropped from a 16 to a 10. Of course all clothes are different so 12 is more like it. I have plenty of 12’s and some 10’s but if I go below that I will be naked. I like size 12. Maybe I’ll just try to stay a size 12. It’s going to get to 60 degrees here tonight. For us this is cold. I know, I know. But when it’s usually 80… ---
