Walked into the shared bathroom at work. One lady was in there already. I walked in rather silently, so I’m pretty sure she thought she was alone, so I though it highly amusing when I heard: _ **burp** _ “Oh, excuse me.” The training was strong in this woman’s childhood. 😃 Also, yesterday afternoon I saw a pair of men’s boxer-briefs lying on the sidewalk, and spared a thought for the gentleman who was ready and willing to simply go without. ---

Thank heaven hump day is over. We toured three client groups through the plant today. As one group was from Japan, management and admins had to dress like grown ups and forgo the usual mug of coffee on our desks. ☹ IT is still trying to hash out my issues from connecting with the new printer. I’ll be glad when the irkweek is over. On the homefront, **swampy** done flung a cravin’ on me again; tonight’s supper is chicken tacos and a salad. ---

Excuse myself to no one, that is. Well, maybe the plants appreciate my courtesy, although the African Violet is “ain’t gonna be pleased” mode. Its leaves are still standing straight up. But it’s blooming so I forgive it. ---

My husband picked up Miracle Whip at the store instead of the mayo I asked for, and at first I was rather miffed. However, I made curried chicken salad today and only had the Miracle Whip on hand and it was yummy. Now I have to apologize for scolding him. ---

At least mine knows better than to allow MW to cross our threshold. BLUGH!!! (He doesn’t like mayo, either, though. He does tolerate the fact that I do.) At risk of treading on Swampy’s TMI turf, add much time in the bathroom to the “fun” of my day. ---

But it does say “salad dressing” and that’s the only purpose for which it’s allowed in my kitchen. It is a bit better than real mayo for making pasta salad for picnics. Being, or at least seeming largely synthetic, it’s probably a smidge safer than mayo at picnics as well. ---

I like Miracle Whip. My dad is allergic to eggs so that was the only mayo he can eat. I didn’t even know what real mayo was like until I moved out. ---
