So, I’ve heard that poppy seeds can make you fail a drug test but how long do poppy seeds actually stay in your system? If I ate lemon poppy muffins on Saturday, how many days later could I take a work related drug test and pass?

I read the archive before I posted the question. The archive does not say how long after eating a food item with poppy seeds in it one could pass a drug test. I ate a poppyseed muffin on Saturday and have to take a drug test this week. Should I postpone the drug test for another week? Should I tell my potential employer that I had a poppy seed muffin so I might fail the drug test? Help!
