I’ve posted before on another thread that IMHO **Veep** is essentially unwatchable. It’s just not pleasant watching the characters grind on each other episode after episode. ---

Knowing this, my coworker brought in a bunch of DVDs for **The Office** , and she _insisted_ I take them home and watch them, guaranteeing I’d love the show. I watched the first episode. Not funny and cringeworthy (and not in a good way). I suffered through the second episode. Not funny and cringeworthy. A couple days later I returned the DVDs to her, appologized, and said it just didn’t click with me. ---

The only episode of _ **Love, American Style** _ I remember watching was the one with Connie Kreski, _ **Playboy** _’s PMoY for 1969, as “Gloria,” a waitress in a topless restaurant. I too loved _The Office_, but I think the first season was pretty weak. The character Dwight (and his inetractions with Jim) was always my favoite part of the show, and he didn’t really gel at first. But by the second season, he was hilarious in ‘Drug Testing’, and ‘The Injury’. ---

Same here. After all he hype about what a great show it was I finally decided to watch it. I found all the characters profoundly unlikable, most of the situations they got into stupid, and as you said the constant sniping offensive. I think I only lasted two episodes. ---
