# Populations not given in atlases

I have a 1995 Hammond World Atlas which doesn’t give the population for every place name. In the table for China, it leaves out the population for the offshore island of Hainan. For India, it gives the populations of all the subdivisions except Daman & Diu, and Goa. No other volume I have gives populations for these area. Where can I find this information?

Population : 7 million

I went to the link on Goa and it gave the population as 1,169,793. You just put a comma in the wrong place. I have the correct info now. 🙂
