# Popup for Tapatalk?

When I clicked on “New Posts” just a minute ago, I got a popup in the lower right corner telling me for my Chrome browser I had to download Tapatalk Messenger to receive Private Messages? Is this legit? I thought Tapatalk was something for smart phones.

It’s legit. Tapatalk has a version for Chrome.

You do not need to install Tapatalk to access the SDMB from Chrome, or to receive private messages on the SDMB via Chrome.

You should only get the popup once, as long as your cookies are working properly. Although if I remember correctly, I think the cookie does expire at some point so you may see the popup again, eventually.
