Yesterday I went for a late-night munchie run at the local grocery store(nationwide store starting with"K")and I went to the freezer near the meat and seafood department to pick up some cheap frozen burritos and then it happened :eek: …in the same door as the burritos I spotted (in cute little tubs no less)FROZEN PORK BRAINS!!! WHAT THE FUCK!!! 😕 Yes,that’s right…100% genuine frozen pork brains. Who the hell eats this shit? And how? What dishes? UGH!!! I almost vomited on site!!! Ok,sorry folks…I just had to spout that off somewhere…I figured the sdmb would be the best place to do it. ---

DICK WAD!!! Hmmm… maybe I should read before I post… Let me scroll down befor I hit submit… oh… for food… Yeah… some people eat shit like that… mostly in scrambled eggs. I am not making that up. I posted a thread once about the ingredents I read on a tube of Chirizo (I think its a sausage) It was made of, and I am also not making this up… “Salavary Glands, Lymph Nodes, and Fat (beef cheeks)” …just like that… I swear to god. I dropped it like a hot iron and actually yelped! ---

You obviously don’t live in the South. Most of us don’t eat them…but we know about them and probably know someone who does. Like _chitlins_. Usually labeled “chitterlings.” Pig intestines by any other name is still a gruesome dish. Yes, I’ve tried both. Not bad, but you won’t see my fridge stocked with them. ---

Yep, if you live in the South you have definitely heard of them. And like TN\* most have tried them. I haven’t had them since I was a little girl. Guess because the only one in our family that would eat them was my dad. Chitlins, same thing. I know plenty of people that eat them, but I can’t even get past the smell much less the taste.
