If anyone is wondering about hotels, a few of us have rooms reserved at the Hilton in Brooklyn Center. It’s within 15 minutes of PorkDope, it’s 10 minutes from downtown Minneapolis and I think I can sneak my dawg in. $85/night is what I got on the website, $89.99/night on Orbitz. Alright, so Ino contacted me and I am working on the microbrew and import selection. I know I can score a couple free cases, but it looks like we could go through a lot more than that. I’ll have to see what I can scrounge from my friend. If need be, I can probably get even more beer at cost. Also, Friday May 31st is the Uptown Beer Festival, behind Calhoun Square, for those that are looking for something to do, or just to get your livers primed. It’s about $20 and includes all the beer you can swill. I will probably be there helping out at one of the sample booths. And the same evening, playing an early show at First Avenue …And you will know us by the Trail of Dead And on saturday night, at First Ave, an early show as well, featuring Luna. An early show means doors at 5, opening act(s) at 6, headline band probably will play from 8-10 or so. Wow, I’ve already got my tix to the Trail of Dead show (Triangle is playing at the 7th St. Entry earlier in the evening). On Saturday, I can bring some beverages of my own, as well. I was a bit abivalent about this at first, but I’m looking forward to it now. ---

Can’t use C4 for something like that. C4 will simply rip the head into itty-bitty bits and fling them all over us. I’m picking up **Jess** and meeting **EnderW24/25** at the airport around 3:30 on Friday. From there we’re going to Ruby Tuesday’s at the MegaMaul for beer (Jess is really really gonna need one) and food. Probably meet **absoul** there, as well. At 5:30 we’re outta there so we can go back to the airport to pick up **Caldazar** at 5:52. Plans are fluid and time is tight, but if anyone wants to meet up for a quick pre-P O R K D O P E mini-Dopefest that’s what my plans are. Right now. As far as I know. Subject to change due to delayed flights/mother nature/horrid traffic jams/alien invasions/death/dismemberment. ---
