OK, I have aquired some beer 4 cases total 2 of Aass, a fabulous norwegian import (1 of pilsner bottles, 1 of tall boy cans, lager and dark lager) 1 of Bell’s Oberon (strong, wheaty, summery) 1 of Capital Amber (all around decent red ale) Also a mixed case of Jones sodas. All for the paltry sum of $40, retail value is easily about $120. So yeah, my buddy hooked me up pretty well. See you all tomorrow! Anyone bringing a little tv so we can watch Ireland v. Cameroon? ---

Aass! Now, for those unfamiliar with it, it’s not really pronounced “ass”. And it doesn’t taste like ass. It’s damn good, in fact. Spanky the Wonder Dog will show for a while, but not the entire day. Poor kid would get too excited with all the people and dogs. ---

According to the Pioneer Press (the Pulizer Prize-winning Twin Cities newspaper), Ireland v Cameroon is on at 1:30 am Saturday. This is roughly 10-14 hours before Porkdope, depending on when people are showing up, so I think that we don’t need to worry about bringing a TV. Soccer matches last 90 minutes, plus injury time, over time, penalty shootout time, half time, and commercials, say 2-2 1/2 hours. I think the listing said Univision, but I could be wrong. ---
