I tend to use “Hiello” which is a cross of ‘hi’ and ‘hello’ for friends I know on instant messaging. ---

I did this accidentally once: I couldn’t decide whether a situation was best described as a “flap” or a “kerfuffle;” wound up telling my co-worker that “there was a fluffle.” ---

“Bustration”: when waiting for a bus and there are dozens of buses coming around the corner, and not a one of them is the one you’re waiting for. It’s a Metrobus when you need a Ride-On, or vice-versa. When it’s the right type of bus, it’s not the right route. When it’s the right route, it’s going in the wrong direction. Or getting off a bus _just_ in time to see the one you’re transferring to pull away from the stop. Arghh! ---

I got this one from my cousin. Anytime she hears of something fake or faux, she replaces the first letter with an “f” (sometimes just adding the “f”). Fake cheese? **Feese.** Faux leather: **Fleather.** It’s a portmanteau machine! And fun at parties. ---
