You are quite right. This has developed into a GD and we’re on a bit of a merry-go-round…and it all started with a question about PORTUGAL!

Could Portugal’s losses in WWI have effected them in WWII. I don’t know how many casualties they came out with but it seems they didn’t get anything in terms of colonies etc out of WWI and honouring their alliance with Britian.

Maybe they did?
