The Darva thread made me think, what would take for you to pose in a porno?
Do you have a moral opinion on this? Is it okay? Skanky? Amoral? Arousing? what do you think and would you do it?

I’d pose if:
1. I thought it might be appreciated by women, and
2. I could be absolutely certain it would never come back to haunt me.
That second means no posing in PlayGirl for me. Of course, I’d definitely be up (pun intended) for a private photoshoot with a SO.

If I had anything remotely resembling a body people wanted to look at for stimulation, I’d be stripped and smilin’ in a heartbeat. Why not? If other people want to PAY to merely look at pictures of my body…I mean, damn, nice work if you can get it.
I’ve never understood the moral problems with this. Skin is evil? Perhaps masturbation is evil? I don’t buy either of those theories. As long as these women are posing completely of their own free will, more power to them.

A friend of mine has just started out doing some photography for internet porn. (so far, only solo women)
He has found it to be 90% non-erotic. The practicalities tend to get in the way - lighting, posing, ideas, setting the whole deal up, convincing the model to try harder-core poses. What he hoped for isn’t happening. (Not to say he hasn’t been affected by some aspects of it. Apparently one model went above and beyond the call of duty and wasn’t faking the orgasmic expression on her face)
I have a minor dream of one day making a porn movie - I want to prove it doesn’t have to be badly acted, badly photographed dross to be popular.
I doubt the opportunity will fall in my lap, though.

Never, for no amount of money. Not porn for pay. If I understand the OP, it’s getting naked, down and dirty for pay money.
Not a chance. I’d literally starve first. In a tough world that chips away at pride and personal dignity in insane ways, personal limits become important. At least to me.
Warping the vintage Churchillian phrase, _I’ll_ establish the principle, and no, I’m not for sale for any price in the marketplace.
Maybe it’s a stupid limit to draw, but it’s mine.

In fact, I am half-seriously and half-jokingly trying to convince my best friend (who looks a lot like me and coupld be my sister) to take a bunch of pics and sell them over the net, to pay down her student loan and finance the next few months of my exciting life. Don’t think I’d do a movie, but amateur pics that I have control over and can see before anyone else, no problem. Show me the money.

- I used to wonder why girls would become strippers, but I got to know a couple (who came through the gas station I worked at) and it became obvious: they got -or got put- out on their own early on and had no professional skills, and stripping was big & easy money compared to working at a fast-food joint. Me being male (less demand for male strippers) and in better circumstances, it wasn’t a temptation I’d ever really had.

I know from whence Daniel speaks. I have worked in the business before and it can be very anti-erotic (at times I even found it disgusting.) Hell, I once threw up on the set (Felching is not as good-lloking as it sounds, and we all know how it sounds!)
