Apparently there is some confusion. I am talking about the article linked by Chicken Legs in post 331and that is all I have been discussing. One intruder killed, no family hurt. That is the only incident I have been discussing. If there was another incident where a family member was shot by mistake, then that is tragic. That tragedy does not change that the woman in the article I have been focusing on successfully defended her family with a gun. ---

Yes but you must admit that we do have a plethora of idiots working for the press; more than any other place outside Washington DC. What the actual case was is that he had a concealed carry permit which “allowed” him to walk outside his home and (in theory) into his neighbors home with a loaded weapon. And yes, there are some who think he should have been charged for going to the rescue of the kid. ---
