I thought I posted this here this weekend, but I posted to a different thread and forgot to add it: [West Virginia becomes the 8th state that has constitutional carry](http://wvmetronews.com/2016/02/08/house-passes-permitless-conceal-carry-bill/)(effective May 24, 2016). This becomes law after a legislative override of the Governor’s veto. The House voted to override by a 64-33 margin. The Senate voted to override 23-11. ---

What did he load a .22 with that was “the wrong ammunition”? ---

Jamming sounds like a semi-auto pistol, not a revolver. They usually take .22 long rifle ammo. He could have mixed .22 longs. .22 shorts, maybe even .22 rat shot or .22 magnum if it would go into the magazine. Also, some semi-auto’s are picky about which brand of ammo they use. Some revolvers won’t take rat shot or magnums or others because the nose of the cartridge sticks out of the chamber a tiny bit which can jam the rotation of the cylinder. Of course the report could be totally misinformed too. Or I could be totally wrong. Not enough information to make a positive ID of the problem if indeed it was really jamming. ---

It is positive because the 16 year old criminal is the only one who came to harm in a series of events that he initiated. The optimal outcome of nobody being harmed at all could have been achieved if the 16 year old had not chosen to be a robber. ---
