# Positive things about Trump being reelected

Based on the demographics I’m seeing, we won’t have to listen to how boomers ruined everything, and we should just let the youth take over so they can fix it, anymore.

Are they? Too soon to tell. I am not confident they will learn any lessons from this. They certainly didn’t in 2016.

And since Trump has shown dictatorial tendencies, anything assuming there will be _remotely_ free/fair elections in 2028 is seriously in doubt. (As is assuming he’s alive and they don’t find someone charismatic to replace him.) I don’t think elections will totally go away, but I wouldn’t be surprised if they turn into “elections” in the same way Russian elections are “elections” – we all know who the winner will be, and it doesn’t matter how popular they are.
