OMIGOD! It was a near thing, but I’ve finally heard from my boss’s boss that my trip is NOT cancelled. (I’ve been sweating it since Thursday.) We’re in “cost containment”, which means all non-necessary expenditures are cancelled. But since the conference $$$ is already spent, he’s letting us go! Wheeee! ---
