Unconfirmed rumor here of a post on the message boards at [browncoats.com](http://browncoats.com) from Joss saying they’re going to have a pre-release showing of Serenity in ten cities across the country. I couldn’t remember my password for the site so I couldn’t read the original or get you the URL.

'Tis true, but the message board says all screenings are sold out.

Yea, it was mentioned in [“Serenity” (Firefly movie) delayed to September](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=288222) and subsequently shown that yes, indeed, all the showings have long since sold out. Sigh.
