Here’s what’s ridiculous to even think about not inviting Obama for TSOTU. Article II, Section 3 allows him to convene both Houses of Congress. ---

Yes, the President can convene both Houses. Convene doesn’t mean that the President gets to speak from the floor of the House. Where does it say that the President must verbally deliver the SOTU from either House? Past Presidents have sent written copies to Congress. ---
