# Possible solution to long time problem?

At the bottom of each day’s column on the main page is a button marked “Comment on this answer”. Is it possible to have a link to that day’s column automatically inserted when people respond using that button? It is an ongoing problem having people provide a link when they respond(two non-linked responses already today).

If this isn’t possible, how about a note asking for a link to the column in question when the “New Thread” button is used in CoCC or CoSR? If people are just there to drop a response, most won’t go through the rules first before posting.
