# Possible to download a huge thread for later perusing?

I’ve noticed that, since the board upgrade, some threads have gotten to be quite large. Is there a way to download such a a thread in order to read it offline?

You would have to go to each page of the thread and click “save as” in your browser. Might be easier to read if you do that after first clicking on the “Show printable version” link at the bottom of the screen. There is no way that I know of to show all posts of a huge thread on the same page.

If you hit “Show Printable Version” there will be a link to the right of The Straight Dope logo that says “show all X number of posts on the same page.” I’ve saved a few like that before.
