# Possible to Sync Smart Phone With TV?

I just bought a Samsung Focus Flash (a Windows phone), and would like to use it to download Netflix movies using the wifi network I have here at home. Am I stuck watching the movies on my phone, or is it possible to purchase some device that will sync up the phone to the TV?
\*Yes, I know I can buy a Roku, but let’s focus on the phone aspect for the time being. Thanks!

Also, with Netflix: do movies only stream, or can you download one to watch at a later time (for example, when you’re on a plane and can’t access cell/wifi networks)?

You don’t mean _sync_. You want to use the TV as a monitor for your phone, if I understand the question. I don’t know about your particular phone, but my iPhone 4S can do this.
Search for a “video cable” or similar term for your phone.
And, yes, Netfilx only streams - you need a fast Internet connection to watch movies.

Is your TV a Samsung? Another solution may be to install Samsung’s AllShare client (if they have one for WinPhone). I have a Galaxy S II Android phone and a Samsung 55" LED TV (7000 series), and the TV can stream video from the phone (and vice versa).
If your TV isn’t a Samsung, does it support DLNA? If so, you should be good to go, once you figure out how to connect the TV & phone on the same network.

According to this your phone does NOT have HDMI video out so you may be out of luck with that route.
