Just found the video below of Steely Dan doing Show Biz Kids. Jeff Baxter scorches through this song! I actually bought a Steely Dan t-shirt at one of their concerts I saw at Red Rocks but it was a parking lot special that didn’t last long. > **[Show Biz Kids - Steely Dan | The Midnight Special](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E2JWtuBLelw%2F)** > > Steely Dan performed on The Midnight Special August 31, 1973Follow us on Social Media:https://www.facebook.com/TheMidnightSpecialTVShow/https://www.instagram... ---

Ooh, yes. I’ve been a Junior Brown fan since the 90s, seen him live a number of times and he once signed a shirt for me. In the hands of a lesser player, the hybrid instrument he plays (the “guit-steel”) would be a gimmick. But he has the chops to make full use of it and is amazing to watch live. And he’s usually singing leads while playing leads too, which not too many people can pull off. It’s like a juggling act. What you always hear about him: “I don’t like country music… but THIS guy is great!!!” Or, put less politely as I once heard someone blurt out at a show, “The guy does everything but f\*\*\* that guitar!” Here he is on Austin City Limits, where I first saw him: [![](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/VFRuiFvwVzc/hqdefault.jpg?sqp=-oaymwEmCOADEOgC8quKqQMa8AEB-AGMBYAC4AOKAgwIABABGGUgXChLMA8=&rs=AOn4CLBVP2ZE5-dyIaPmTizwtvMugs2gvQ "Junior Brown - Austin City Limits - 1995") ](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VFRuiFvwVzc) ---
