I wonder what the cost is to rent/hire (whatever the term is) the premises for the wedding and reception? Is it a package or does every little thing cost extra. (Surely, the latter.) Flowers, food, booze before/with/after the meal, dishes/flatware, linens, glasses, stage/platform. Any band probably has to rent whatever sound, etc., equipment they don’t bring themselves. Or, better, _outside_ sound equipment is forbidden and the band has to rent everything from Mar-A-Lago Entertainment Electronics and Forever After Factory Ltd. Heck, it’s a license for trump to print money. (I wonder why he didn’t issue **that** executive order while he had the chance?) ---

How close do you think the Secret Service is when he meanders into these receptions? I mean, could a guest actually be able to hit the boviating doofus with a piece of thrown wedding cake? Imagine the video of that hitting the internet? Oh man, that would be epic. ---

But again, the sort of people who book and attend a reception at Mar-A-Lago are likely to be fawning fans, not the cake-throwing type, and anyone attending who is not a Trump fan is unlikely to risk arrest and/or ostracism from their friends/family just for a cheap cake splat. It would be mildly amusing but not really worth it. ---

I have a practical question, though. Usually facility rentals for these kinds of events have a pretty specific time limitation. “You get the hall from 3pm to 10pm. You get the service staff from 5pm to 9pm. Setup has to happen from 3 to 6, the event proper is from 6 to 9, then guests leave and cleanup is done by 10. Penalties apply if you go over schedule.” So if the weirdo gasbag takes over the stage for an hour, and throws off the timeline, is that “free”? Is the schedule adjusted to accommodate? Or is he padding his income by blowing up people’s event planning and putting them on the hook for the time he’s imposing on their events in his own facility? Note, I don’t actually need a real answer, because we all know how he operates. ---

I was thinking that she’d be an awesome SCOTUS nominee. I think Biden has nominally committed to nominating a black woman for the next vacancy but ABJ could be the next RBG should the opportunity arise. ---
