I don’t think they care - the whole Armageddon/final battle thing is a Christian (and mostly evangelical/fundamentalist) thing. They don’t much care **why** they’ve got that set of Americans on their side, they just like having them. Kind of like the British bemusedly accepting support from the pro-lizard people people (the queen being a lizard person). Sure, they’re nutty but we like their pressuring of the American government. ---

Richmond, VA took down their massive statue of Robert E. Lee…which, of course, enraged the twice-impeached two-time loser, and he took to his Official Website to denounce the act and praise the genius of Lee. Including…“[except for Getttysburg, he would have won the war](https://news.yahoo.com/trump-weird-rant-robert-e-081318204.html).” Which is hysterical. Like, “except for Stalingrad, Hitler would have defeated Russia” or “except for Waterloo Napoleon would have won the Napolonic wars.” ---
