# Post count and profiles

Excuse me, but I have a question.

It seems that in some users’ profiles, the post count is a positive integer, while the last post is ‘never’.  
Why is this?

I expect it may be related to the vB switch-over.

Thank you for any help you may be able to provide.

My WAG is that the threads to which they posted no longer exist. I imagine you wouldn’t find this with anyone who registered after the switchover.

Another question, if I might…

If a poster’s status changes, say from ‘member’ to ‘moderator’, is that change reflected on the label of all theri previous posts? By label, I mean that piiece to the left that gives the name and post count, etc.

It should, as members who are banned have the “BANNED” label under all their posts.

It works the other way, too. (I had to check to make sure). All of **Chronos** ’s posts say “member” now, even the posts from when he was still a moderator.

In threads from before the UBB/vBulletin switch, everyone is now listed as a “guest”, I believe.
