I am not suggesting that you standby while the Hispanics are marched to deportation trucks but maybe you shouldn’t call the mom of the guy doing the hauling a whole while you’re trying to stop them. Look I worked in the oil field for a decade and there are a lot of people in there that have some scary beliefs there are also people who want to do a good job make money and support their family. By calling the second people Earth rapers who are trying to murder poor people all you do is drive them to want to strike back at you. There is a huge difference between calling the people actually preforming an action terrible things and calling the people on the sidelines horrible things. I personally think trump in a menace to society but calling my dad’s best friend that would only shut down our dialog and prevent me from having meaningful conversations in the future. ---

Yep, posting on my phone got much more difficult since the upgrade even when I use real words it gets autocorrected to something else. Thanks for puzzling it out. My point isn’t that insults need to be relevant it’s they should he directed. Voting for trump was a stupid thing to do but lots of smart people do dumb things all of the time. In order to get those people who did a stupid thing on your side or at least no longer against you it’s probably not a great idea to tell them how dumb they are for the next 4 years. On the other hand when one of them starts a KKK fair in the summer time call them racist and protest the fair just don’t attack the guy next door if he doesn’t join your protest or go to the fair because he has to work or watch Desperate Housewives. ---
