I don’t see why there would be regulations. Political ads are regulated so as to make the election process fair. Once the election is over that’s no longer a concern. Anything after that is a matter for the courts and the legislature, neither of which is likely to be affected by ads. I’m not sure what such ads are seeking to accomplish. ---

I hope you’re right. Certainly a good number of judges have, so far, resisted bending the law to please the Regime (to their great credit). ---

I should say I don’t think you’re wrong though. Even if it’s futile, the Republicans have acted more desperately of late and i could see them doing it.
