Yesterday at work I was processing a credit card order for a Bankruptcy Education purchase. The guy on the other line was giving me the expiration date of his debit card.
‘‘May of phone cuts out’’
‘‘I’m sorry, would you mind repeating that again?’’
‘‘Yeah, I think the phone cut out. It expires in May of phone cuts out’’
Pause. ‘‘May of phone cuts out.’’
Then from the other end of the line: ‘‘I think someone may be playing with us.’’
