Post-Secondary Education for Medical Doctors in the US

In NZ the Auckland medical school will admit you for a 6 year MBChB course after one year of a BSc (Health sciences) or BHSc course, or as a graduate entry after a 3 year degree in any NZ university. So, 7 or 9 years to graduate as a doctor, then two years as a house officer, then 3-5 as a registrar in your specialty for a total of 14-16 years.
