I thought about explaining my reasons in the OP but, frankly, I got bored in the middle of the paragraph. Thus I will only say that the images linked may be either in black & white or sepia and should be, for whatever reason, particularly striking and beautiful. It does not matter whether the pictures are landscapes, still lifes, or of human models; I only ask that, everybody show common sense if linking to a nudes and anything else that is not safe for work. Be warned that, while this picture is certainly safe for work, his gallery includes nudes that are not. Inside the spoiler box below you’ll find a nude black & white image I find particularly striking, though obviously NSFW. Not sure if it counts since all photos were b/w or sepia at the time, but this is one of my favorite pics- [my twin great aunts outside same house ca. 1904-1905](http://www.flickr.com/photos/28949748@N06/2783466442/). And yes, a couple years back I tried to talk a friend out of upgrading to a multi-megapixel camera because those pixels would not show up when she printed out her vacation snapshots. I stand behind that, though I know that someone who knew what she was doing could make those pixels dance. One must understand the limitations behind the camera. ---

I’ve also had multiple people tell me that even my color digital photography is rather better than “snapshots.” And I should hope so, I’ve been doing this on a professional level for several years. :dubious: ---
