DON’T buy the extended warranty on retail consumer goods (tvs, laptops, appliances, autos, etc.). Instead, take note of how much the extended warranty costs and start a savings account with the money. Use this account to pay for repairs on the goods you bought. You WILL end up ahead in the long run. ---
