“Evil One” – just one voice in the wilderness here. You’re right. I read a lot of right-wing AND a lot of left-wing stuff. I just don’t devote the energy any more trying to get some of these folks to appreciate the magnitude of difference between a mass grave of hundreds of thousands of people (including the children’s burial ground) killed specifically and on purpose and 4000 people killed by accident. You’re just beating your head against a wall. They will never, ever see your point. I don’t even know why I read this thread; I won’t check back, for the same reason I don’t listen to Rush Limbaugh. It’s too frustrating to listen to nonsense and be unable to wrap ones fingers around the neck of the nonsense-spouter. Cheers and Courage. ---

Trying to get cold-hearted liberals to care about international humanitarian issues and human rights is a challenge that has been faced by generations of conservatives. Dave, you used to at least mix in _some_ content with your playground taunts, but here you’ve even forgone that; you’re just throwing around insults without even a shred of participation in the subject matter of the thread. I mean, the OP, for all his faults, is at least trying to debate an issue. You’re not bothering. I suppose that’s your prerogative, but frankly, it makes you look like a schmuck. What taunt? Benny posted a whole slew of bullshit, historical inaccuracies and wild straw men, nothing to debate there, hell, I didn’t even insult him, I just said “that’s bullshit”. Posting something in 20 point type does not a coherent arguement make. YOU, who I had not even addressed, felt compelled to show up and insult me. YOU started the playground taunts by saying “A contribution worthy of your intellect, Dave”. You want to have a discussion, have one, but don’t insult me out of the blue and the accuse me of taunting you, fuckhead. ---

All you guys are arguing over is a matter of opinion. Most say, on this board at least, that the US wasn’t threatened in the least from Iraq, others disagree. Some of those just happen to run your country. ---
