The main objective of the surface section will be to drill approximately 30m through the volcanic rock/conglomerate/boulders and then to nudge the well in the desired azimuth at a rate of 2degrees/30m for the next 120m to a section depth of roughly 150m. This will allow the 13 3/8” casing shoe to be set at a depth to cover surface aquifers and in a location that gives some separation from the other wells located on the pad. All wells will be nudged except for the wells originating from slots 6 and 11 which will be drilled vertically from surface in order to accommodate additional anti-collision concerns. ---
