For every other player it just says bats and throws. ---

And as a Yankee fan, I’m pretty sure I’ve seen O’Neill kick plenty of things with both legs. Excellent player, but he threw temper tantrums frequently. ---

I was born in Cleveland in 1949, the year after The Indians won their second World Series. Since then they’ve lost in '54 4-0, '95 4-2, '97 4-3. '16 4-3. I tell my wife, they’ll probably win it the year after I die. ---

The above post inspired me to do a search for the answer to this question. I will freely admit that I didn’t know the answer, and I’m not sure that I ever heard the name. If I did, I certainly don’t remember it. Who has the most MLB plate appearances with a .000 batting average? Randy Tate. He pitched one season (1975) for the Mets, compiling a W-L record of 5-13 with an ERA of 4.45. He had 47 plate appearances, recording 1 walk and 5 sacrifice bunts.
