I’m Lindsay although I would love to change the spelling to "L_y_nds_e_y. I’ve had the same experiences with multiple Lindsay’s in one place. My chorus class this year had 3, and I had two classes with another Lindsay. We must have driven the teachers crazy. ---

Cathy. No, not _Catherine_, not _Kathleen_, Cathy. It isn’t short for anything. And yes, it **is** spelled with a “C.” I like people who ask, rather than assume it’s spelled with a “K.” The first day of school was always terrible–no teacher ever got it right. I had a teacher who _insisted_ that Cathy must be short for something. I thought she was going to call my parents. People call me Cathy, Cat, and CJ. My husband calls me Boo–but no one else is allowed to. 😉 ---
