“Torberg” actually is my real first name. “Tor” for short. And no…there’s no “h” in it. Anywhere. It’s neither “Thor” nor “Thorberg.” For some strange reason a lot of people seem to have difficulty with this concept. ---

**Gerard** , but I am never called that, as a kid I was “Buddy” then “Bud” and later “Jerry” - Incidently I was named after my maternal great-aunt who was a nun, Sister Gerard. How many other guys get named after a nun? Also by the way, Gerard = **Firm Spear** 😃 ---

My birth certificate and drivers license both read Douglas. But you’d better have a darn good reason for calling me anything other than Doug if you’re talking directly to me. I haven’t yet felt like a “Douglas” at any time during this lifetime. And God help you if you try calling me Doogie. 😉 ---
